Employment opportunities for the upcoming 2019/20 school year

Ross Montessori School is currently recruiting for: 

-Experienced, credentialed educators for all levels who share our Montessori values and who want to be part of the exciting work that we do at RMS

-Teachers who are interested in becoming Montessori trained

-Part-time Spanish teacher who will enrich the curriculum for students in kindergarten through grade 8 (can also be made full-time if an ideal candidate wishes to be in a Montessori classroom part-time in the mornings)

-Part-time classroom assistants for all grade levels

-Experienced full-time Director of Business

-Bus drivers

-Substitute teachers

Before You Apply

If you are interested in applying for a faculty position, please note the following requirements:

•    Minimum of Bachelor of Arts degree

•    Possess a true love of following the child and nurturing life-long learners

•    AMS or AMI Montessori credential, as well as “Highly Qualified” status as per Colorado Department of Education (or) enrolled in a Montessori program, currently (or willingness to be trained on site)

•    Significant lead teaching experience in an Authentic Montessori environment preferred

•    Willingness to balance the demands of providing high-quality Montessori experience in a charter school environment; we are authorized through the Charter School Institute (Denver, Colorado)

•    Familiarity with charter school accountability requirements

•    Understanding of standards-based curriculum alignment and progress monitoring systems that ensure fidelity of program implementation

•    A true desire for collaboration

•    A commitment to open, honest communication in the spirit of continuous improvement
