Employment Opportunities for 2017/18: 

1 part time bus driver for down valley for our morning route 1: GWS>Carbondale and afternoon route 1: Carbondale>GWS (pays $22/hour for 15 hours/week). Driver needs to have or be willing to train to have CDL license with P and S endorsements.

We are looking for full-time Lead Teachers for upper and lower elementary, plus and part-time Classroom Assistants for kinder, lower elementary and middle school. We are also looking to find part-time teachers for art and drama (performing arts.)

If you are interested in applying for a faculty position, please note the following requirements:

•  Minimum of Bachelor’s degree

•  Possess a true love of following the child and nurturing life-long learners

•  AMS or AMI Montessori credential, as well as “Highly Qualified” status as per Colorado Department of Education (or) enrolled in a Montessori program, currently (or willingness to be trained on site)

•  Significant lead teaching experience in an Authentic Montessori environment preferred

•  Willingness to balance the demands of providing high quality Montessori experience in a charter school environment; we are authorized through the Charter School Institute (Denver, Colorado)

•  Familiarity with charter school accountability requirements

•  Understanding of standards-based curriculum alignment and progress monitoring systems that ensure fidelity of program implementation

•  A true desire for collaboration

•  A commitment to open, honest communication in the spirit of continuous improvement
